Sony Connected World

As part of their new anthemic campaign, the companion website served as a proof point to the campaign with new product information, convergence stories, and product demos.

To begin, the site architecture is defined with four key product narratives: Create, Listen, Watch, and Play. A narrative structure is also set-up with a similar corresponding matrix to allow for easy content mapping.

The navigation provides easy, direct access to products, along with entry points to the four convergence stories.

When it comes to designing the narrative and product demos, it's important to visualize and communicate the vision as clear as possible. As much as I enjoy the bacon ipsum or hipster ipsum from time to time (oh ya, there's a lot out there nowadays), it's helpful to draft up key headlines and body copy to help guide copywriters on what to write! It's also important to visualize and illustrate different page interactions to communicate the vision to designers and of course, document the functional specifications and requirements for the developers.

Wireframes are essentially the foundation and blueprints of the final product, not to be mistaken for simply black and white boxes on a page.
